OPTIMAL INCOMPLETE BLOCK-DESIGNS FOR COMPARING TREATMENTS WITH A CONTROL UNDER THE NEAREST NEIGHBOR CORRELATION MODEL

In this paper, designs are found which are A-optimal in a starting subset of all possible designs, for comparing p test treatments with a control under the nearest neighbor correlation model. The starting class of designs is the class of optimal incomplete block designs of D. Majumdar and W.I. Notz (1983).
