WOP CONTROL 2000 - A TECHNOLOGY CONCEPT FOR THE LEAN PRODUCTION

摘要
The interdisciplinary project ''Computer supported experience guided work'' (CeA) which is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Technology has been studying the empirical knowledge in the CIM environment since October 1990 within the framework of the sub-project 2 (CeA2). The project aims at developing requirements to experience-promoting organization structures and suitable technical components in the CNC-CAD and CNC-PPS chains [1]. This article describes the WOP control 2000 which was designed and built as a prototype by the Fraunhofer-Institut fur Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation (IAO) (Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering) and the Stuttgart-based Institut fur Arbeitswissenschaft und Technologiemanagement (IAT) (Institute for Human Factors and Technology Management). This system is an information system which supports the shop personnel in future, decentralized working structures much better than is currently possible.
