AN EFFECTIVE METHOD OF SOLVING CERTAIN TYPES OF INTEGRAL-EQUATIONS IN PROBLEMS OF THE THEORY OF THE BENDING OF THIN PLATES

Integral equations (IE) to which one can reduce certain static and dynamic problems concerned with bending of thin plates with inclusions are considered. A method of solving these equations is proposed, which is based on a special approximation of the symbol of the kernel of the IE. The exact solution of the IF with an approximate kernel is constructed in the class of functions with integrable singularities at the ends of the integration interval.
