摘要
The globalization of the international community requires development of new educational values, one of them is the changing role of the modern teacher. Of paramount importance is a teacher's skill set. It is necessary for the direct and effective elevation of the professional function and social status of the teacher's role in society, increasing their professional substantiation and realization as a productive member in it. Using such quantifiable standard measure as "Qualifications assessments" is a valuable tool that can be utilized very efficiently so that can contribute greatly for improving the status and social standing of the Bulgarian teacher.
