摘要
The cross-polarization characteristics of a rectangular microstrip patch antenna mounted on a cylindrical surface are investigated by using the modal-expansion theory. The case of the patch antenna excited at TM(01) mode is treated. Numerical results showing the variations of the cross-polarization level for various aspect ratios and different curvature radii are given. A great dependence of the crosspolarization level on the curvature radius of the cylindrical microstrip patch antenna is observed. The effects of feed positions on the cross-polarization characteristics are also analyzed. (C) 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
