摘要：

Some properties of perfect partition functions, including a Ramanujan type congruence, are proved. The notion of perfect partitions is extended to partitions with d(a) copies of a which eventually leads to a new interpretation of the factorial function. In section 4, we give a new combinatorial interpretation of sigma(n) and discuss its generalization. In the last section we pose several open problems.
