Nanocrystalline Fe-based alloys obtained by mechanical alloying

摘要
The mechanical alloying technique has been used to prepare nanocrystalline Fe-10 at. %Ni and Fe-30 at, %Al alloys from powder mixtures. For both alloys studied a disordered bcc solid solution has been formed by high energy ball milling. The final crystallites sizes of Fe(Ni) and Fe(Al) solid solutions have been calculated to be about 15 and 5 nm, respectively. A maximum strain level up to 1% has been observed.
