摘要
This paper analyzes the behaviour of the sulphur dioxide catalytic reduction with carbon oxide, under dynamic regime in an isothermal displacement reactor, in the presence of copper - based catalyst deposited on gamma - alumina, 7.6% Cu. The temperature and contact time influence upon the reacting system performances was studied, as well as the determination of the kinetic parameters, i.e. reaction order, reaction rate constant and activation energy. The sulphur dioxide reduction with carbon oxide is following a 1 -st degree kinetics versus the sulphur dioxide, and the process activation energy is E = 26.231 kcal/mol.
