摘要
This job has as purpose to find an approximate measure of the vulnerability on preschool students to the schools support by the state of Chile. Based on the concept of well-being / vulnerability developed by The Junaeb, National Board of School Assistance and Scholarships, in order to describe the inequality and its contribution on the school failure, a methodology for the preschool population is proposed, which leads to a global measure based on individual, family and contextual variables, which is subsequently used for a multidimensional description, using criteria developed by Alkire & Foster (2007). The results expose that it is possible to generate a consistent global measure of vulnerability in this population, indicating regional differences compatible with other measures, as poverty. A high percentage of the evaluated population presents multidimensional vulnerability and the main risks were found on aspects as socioeconomic condition and health, where exists a high presence of economic poverty, cavities and overweight, respectively.
