Bernard, W.J., 1987. Reserves estimation and performance prediction for geopressured gas reservoirs. J. Pet. Sci. Eng., 1: 15-21. A new method is presented for estimating reserves and predicting the performance of abnormally pressured ( geopressured) natural gas reservoirs. The method is applicable for reservoirs undergoing either depletion drive or limited steady-state water drive. Possible reasons for the differences in performance between normally pressured and abnormally pressured gas reservoirs are discussed.
