摘要
The paper describes the development of a computer machine interrace utilising software development and hardware devices and the incorporation of a machine vision system for on-line quality and process control of the yarn brushing process. The development of the most appropriate control algorithms for this on-line control system will be outlined. A Knowledge-based Process Control System (KBPCS) to extract and order the features of a brushed yarn and automatically select an optimum set of processing parameters for the machine control program is reported.
