摘要：
The paper deals with crime control and protection of wildlife from illegal trade. The existing international legal documents are discussed, including the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES, 1973) and national criminal legislation of different countries, such as the USA, the UK, Germany, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates. The need for a unified approach to the issue and harmonization of national legislation of different countries to conserve wildlife is stressed.
