Christ's Alphabet from Kiev in the Serbian poetry of the 18th century

The first didactic verses in the new Serbian literature, or as Tihomir Ostojic called it "moral verses", we found in the Saint Andrea's Prime from 1717, recently attributed to Gavril Stefanovic Venclovic. Altought it is assumed that they, as well as a good part of Primer's theological content, occur under the influence of the oldest Russian primers, the key question of the direct Russian Church Slavonic model is left open. Establishing the context of the key structural elements of the oldest Russian primers from XVI XVII century (primers content, "Christ Alphabet", An Account ofthe Letters, theological content), this article reveals the anonym Kyev's primer from mid 171h century as a real, possible transferred, Russian Church Slavonic mold of our oldest Saint Andrea's verses.
