A FINITE PLATE ELEMENT FOR DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF A CRACKED PLATE

摘要
The paper presents a method of creating the stiffness matrix of a finite plate element with an internal, non-propagating, open crack. The flexibility matrix of the plate finite element with the crack is assumed to be the sum of the flexibility matrix of the non-cracked finite element and an additional flexibility matrix caused by the crack. The non-cracked finite element flexibility matrix was calculated by taking into consideration the elastic strain energy of the plate corresponding to Kirchhoff theory. The additional flexibility matrix was obtained by taking into account the additional elastic stress energy due to the occurrence of the crack in the plate. The model obtained is verified by numerical calculations, the results of which are compared with the data of other authors.
