摘要
The structural phase transition of a ferroelectric liquid crystal has been studied by energy-dispersive X-ray diffraction. In the nematic phase, the spatial and temporal behaviour of the molecular orientation is observed by applying an external magnetic and/or electric field to the specimen. The orientational convection of the nematic alignment is studied by analyzing the intensity fluctuation of the diffracted peaks by Fourier transformation.
