A DIGITAL INTERPRETATION OF TWO LORQUIAN TRAGEDIES: YERMA AND DONA ROSITA LA SOLTERA

The tragedies of Garcia Lorca have been the cause of numerous philological studies in the last decades. Their durability allows to project onto them newborn digital investigations such as those applied to network analysis. Through the use of XML-TEI (Text Enconding Initiative) of the plays by Lorca and its loading of information on programmes like Ghepi, you can see the organisation of the dramatic universe of the poet as well as the relevance of feminine characters in regard to the plot of the play. The in-depth study of Yerma and Dona Rosita, la soltera through this method, pretends to highlight quantitative data resulting from the analysis of elements such as degree centrality and the measurement of centrality eigenvector centrality. The visualization of these and other elements in the graphs or sociability network, allow to understand-from a digital perspective the dramatic universe of the poet from Granada.
