摘要
The paper deals with the issue of motivation and teachers' motivational strategies used in foreign language classes, whose aim is to increase the learners' motivation to foreign language learning. Motivation is an important factor affecting the quality of education and can influence the life-long attitude of learners towards learning foreign languages and to the language itself. The aim of the study was to find motivational strategies that teachers consider most important in foreign language teaching and compare them with the real frequency of their use in foreign language classes.
