ELABORATION AND VALIDATION PROCESS OF THE USE OF ICTS QUESTIONNAIRE ON PARAGUAYAN STUDENTS

摘要
The ICT Use Questionnaire was built to evaluate the frequency of use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in three dimensions: information or virtual education, communication or mediated interaction and entertainment or leisure. The aim of this study is to establish the validity and reliability of this instrument. The sample used (K = 947), is composed of students of Basic Education (EEB), Middle Education (EM), and Higher Education (ES), public and private institutions of Asuncion city, with an average age of 19.63 years old (SD = 5.85). The results of the factor analysis reveal 3 main components in the questionnaire. The Cronbach's alpha of the instrument was estimated at .79 for the sample, and it has criterion validity. It is concluded that the ICT Use Questionnaire is a valid and reliable instrument for what was built within the population of paraguayan students and the like.
