INFLUENCE OF EDGE VIBRATIONS ON HYDROFOIL AND PROPELLER TRAILING-EDGE NOISE

摘要
The influence of vibrations of foils (hydrofoils and propeller blades) on the characteristics of their trailing-edge noise is investigated experimentally. It is shown that vibrations have the effect of increasing the intensity of flow-induced radiation and introducing peaks in the spectrum at the natural frequencies of the hydrofoil by regularizing and amplifying the intensity of vortices shed from the trailing edge of the hydrofoil. It is established that the trailing-edge noise of a vibrating hydrofoil and the singing of blade assemblies have the same physical nature.
