摘要
The development of the person goes through a succession of transitions in which, without doubt, one of the most significant and complex is access to adult life, being associated with the assumption of the roles that society, its evolution, gives each individual. In young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) this process is especially important given the features of this pathology. For the transition to adulthood and active social participation of these young, the detection and mitigation of their needs from the social environment is very important, as is to reinforce the concept of quality of life for a full social inclusion. This article presents a brief analysis of the main characteristics of ASD, emphasizing these needs associated with the aforementioned transition process, while describing the model of Person-Centered Planning (PCP), offering strengths and weaknesses in their application with the group mentioned.
