RHETORICAL GENRES OF THE RUSSIAN POLITICAL ORATORY IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE 20TH CENTURY

This article investigates the development of rhetorical genres in the beginnings of the 19th Century, starting with the Imperial rule by Nicolay II and ending by the political situation of the Soviet Times. The investigation of rhetorical genres of the time is based on genre theories and modern concepts by O. Sirotinina's scientific school. The author examines the problems of historical correspondence of genres of this epoch, semantics, syntax, pragmatics of genre, rules of improvised genre forms, contaminated genres. The article gives a classification of the Soviet Times genres. The author examines this problem in the rhetorical, ethics, political and national aspects.
