摘要
A new phenomenon, the 'self-shrink' of the first kind of dumbbell domains (ID) in garnet bubble films was found. When the static bias field is set below, but close to their maximum stripe-to-bubble transition field, (H(sb))ID,max, IDs can spontaneously and gradually shrink into circular 'bubbles', which are a mixture of IDs (in circular form) and ordinary hard bubbles (OHB) with less vertical Bloch lines (VBLs) in their walls.
