摘要
In the geographical context, elections are a component of political geography which mirror human preferences and political structure in a particular space. We use spatial statistical methods to examine the relationships of the events and phenomena distributed in the space. With these methods, we can observe whether elections reflect a particular structure on the space or not. The aim this study is to determine spatial clusters of the voting rates of parties which entered parliament in 2011, according to the results of that general election. For this, voting rates from 2011 were obtained from TUIK and analyzed with G(i*) statistic and LISA (Local indicator Of Spatial Assocation) spatial statistical methods. According to the analysis, results have emerged that show the clustered region of each party's votes as different from the other parties. Furthermore, we observed different spatial patterns in the voting rates for each party among the election results.
