摘要:
During the Tripoli War between 1911 and 1912, Ottoman Empire and Italy declared that the weapons military supplies and the materials serving to the armament at the sea and on land by both sides would be accepted as illegal. Therefore, they seized upon the enemy and the neutral country ships carrying these materials. The Ottoman Empire established the Sea Booty Courts in order to supervise the legality of these seizures and to judge and to decide about the seized ships and their goods.
