AERODYNAMIC EFFICIENCY OF SMOKE VENTILATORS - COMPARISON OF MEASUREMENTS ON FULL-SCALE AND MODEL VENTILATORS

摘要
The paper presents some important results of the VdS-round-robin-test. The discharge coefficients without and with sidewind were determined for five smoke ventilators (SV) in three test installations. A second comparison test, which will be reported about, concerns a SV tested in full scale at CETIAT and in model scale at Aachen. In all cases, the discharge coefficients agree quite well. Only the discharge coefficients with sidewind (c(vw)) measured at CETIAT and at Aachen show discrepancies. The results of an additional round-robin-test on ridge ventilators in full scale and model scale show also satisfactory agreement. Finally, the paper gives a guideline on the use of full scale and model scale testing for various types of SV.
