EVALUATION OF RISK FACTORS THAT CAUSES WORK ACCIDENTS IN THE COMPANIES OF MACHALA-ECUADOR

This research was conducted in the city of Machala, and its main objective was to evaluate the risk factors that cause accidents in companies residing in the town. A descriptive method was used with a combination of qualitative and quantitative strategy, getting between the results that most companies have little knowledge about the importance of security measures at companies and their regulations in Ecuador; also evidenced the absence of internal policies and programs of occupational health and safety and the absence of control that it have to be made by the government regulators to machalenas companies, indeed they have allowed their operation despite without meeting safety requirements required by law.
