摘要
In order to clarify the role of Mo on the passivation of FeCr-Mo alloys, the critical current density in stationary polarization curves of several alloys, with and without Mo, are compared with the maximum current density in potential step measurements. The results showed that Mo increases the dissolution rate of the alloys, but the increase is compensated by the faster formation of the passive film, thus increasing the resistance against corrosion of the FeCr alloys.
