摘要
New results are presented which are critical to the analysis of dynamic recrystallization which occurs during high temperature deformation of metals. Topological investigations of copper single crystals tested at 973 K in vacuum were performed to identify slip systems operating during straining. The rapid drop of the load is associated with a self-induced change of the deformation path. It is also suggested that recrystallization can follow as a consequence of this process.
