Higher cohomology operations, exotic characteristic classes and spherical fibrations

In this paper, we give a homological algebraic interpretation of stable cohomology operations of order k and state a criterion for proving the non-triviality of higher exotic classes in H*(BSG) defined by these operations. ie also prove a conjecture of Peterson on the complete structure of H*(BCoker J(p)).
