摘要
Hip arthroscopy with the patient in the supine position is an effective and reproducible method. Patient positioning is simple on a standard fracture table with an orientation familiar to orthopaedic surgeons. It allows reliable access for all standard portals and easily accommodates repositioning for arthroscopy of the peripheral compartment as well as the iliopsoas bursa. This method may also carry less risk of excessive intraabdominal fluid accumulation. This chapter details the technique and anatomy of the intraarticular and peripheral compartments, including illustrative case examples.
