摘要
The first tetraethynyl[3]cumulene derivatives 2 have been prepared from 1 and structurally characterized by X-ray analysis. The central butatriene double bond is the most reactive site in 2 and can be selectively reduced by triphenylphosphane in the presence of water to form the strongly fluorescing 1,1,4,4-tetraethynyl-1,3-butadiene. Rhodium(I) also undergoes complexation at the central cumulene double bond. R = SiMe3, SiiPr3.
