INTERCROPPING OF CLUSTERBEAN (CYAMOPSIS-TETRAGONOLOBA) WITH PEARL-MILLET (PENNISETUM-GLAUCUM)

摘要：
A 2-year field experiment conducted at Gwalior revealed that seed yield of clusterbean [Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taubert] was significantly reduced by intercropping with pearl millet [Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R. Br. emend. Stuntz] irrespective of genotypes. Grain yield of pearl millet was also reduced significantly by intercropping it with clusterbean compared with sole crop of pearl millet. High net return was obtained with sole crop of clusterbean, and intercropping of pearl millet had no economical significance in any proportion.
