摘要：

The narrowband real time analyzer (RTA) provides fine frequency resolution and high-speed analysis of machinery noise and vibration. The addition of high-speed spectrum processing functions to an easily-used conversational computer language (interpreter) provides an efficient mixture of programming flexibility and speed. The use of the interpreter language as a system executive allows the user to carry out complex spectrum processing operations by issuing simple commands. The Campbell diagram is offered as a valuable aid in characterizing the complex phenomena of resonances in rotating machinery. Utilization of the hardware/software approach discussed reduces millions of data points to important answers in final form - with fully identified and calibrated tables and graphs.
