摘要：

This paper is a discussion of readings that show prejudice in the work of Monteiro Lobato, in particular in the work "Pedrinho's Hunting". The approach was supported on two aspects. First, the need for a general theory of Lobato and his work. Second, the notion of deconstruction. It starts with a seemingly contradictory proposal but that, after all, is explained by the decomposition of aspects merge in the general work to finally be reintegrated in an explanatory whole.
