State and local governments have relied on sales tax as a significant source of revenue. But the Internet has made them lose sales tax revenue, as online purchases have soared. So states are continuing a push to tax sales made over the Internet, which can impact companies' cash flow. Here's an update of the situation. (C) 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
