摘要
Based upon a general model of international human resource management this paper presents a comparative analysis of human resource management practices between China and the West (i.e., primarily Canada and the United States). This paper also contends that research into international HRM practices should incorporate the combination of environmental and organizational characteristics of target countries in order to ensure a more complete understanding of the similarities and differences that may exist between countries.
