摘要
New quantitative determination of beta-diketones is described. 2,3-diaminonaphtalene reacts with beta-diketones to yield 2,3-b naphto 1,5-diazepinium salts which possess high absorbance near 310 nm. Absorbance of 2,3-diaminonaphtalene excess is suppressed by use of a derivative spectrophotometric procedure (zero-crossing point method). The calibration graphs are linear in the concentration range 2-30 mumol l-1. Limits of detection are in the order of 0.8 mumol l-1.
