摘要：
The interfacial indentation test is used here to compare the cracking resistance of the <<substrate-lining>> interface of two pig irons, Ft 25 and FGS 700-2, coated with a layer of chromium carbide by hypersonic heat projection. Exploitation of the results shows that it is possible to define an intrinsic characteristic representative of the <<layer-substrate>> adherence The influence of residual stresses on this characteristic is also examined.
