摘要
A matrix method is introduced to invert the Poisson transformation that characterizes the effect of shot noise on optical measurements. This method offers the possibility of removing the effects of shot noise from these measurements. The theoretical limitations of the transformation and an algorithm for evaluation of the transformation matrix with maximal precision are discussed.
