摘要
Wind is one of the most complex elements of the climate, and contributes significantly to various phenomena such as soil erosion, pollutant dispersion, transport of pollen and seeds, spread of disease and the generation of wind energy. To describe and quantify the dynamics of weather phenomena used are new modeling techniques, including nonlinear analysis, fractal and multifractal dynamics. An important truth for better aspects of these models is the existence of long-range correlations that have been observed over the last decade in climatic time series. This paper aims to analyze the long-range correlations of the time series of wind speed in the Northeast region during the period 2008-2011, using the Detrended Fluctuation Analysis method - DFA.
