SHEDDING LIGHT ON QUARKONIUM FORMATION BY ASSOCIATED PHOTON PRODUCTION

摘要：
The process AB --> quarkonium +gamma + X, for a heavy quarkonium state such as J/psi or UPSILON, is considered. The ratio of the cross sections for this process in pp and ppBAR collisions is shown to be a very sensitive probe of models of quarkonium formation.
