摘要：

This paper presents bispectrum analysis of seismic signals. For a signal with a Gaussian distribution the sample bispectrum is low in contrast to the bispectrum for a signal with a skewed distribution. In this paper we demonstrate this property with an artificial seismic pulse, an earthquake, and a mine explosion. The sample skewness and the real and the imaginary part of the analyzed bispectrum also might reflect later arrivals and different properties of the wave form in the coda.
