摘要：
1. Uptake of the nucleoside uridine by adult Fasciola hepatica during a 2 min period is a linear function of concentration over the range 0.01-2.5 mM. 2. Addition of the metabolic inhibitor iodoacetic acid (0.5 mM) did not affect the uptake of uridine by the fluke and competitive inhibition by thymidine did not occur either. 3. The results indicate that uridine absorption across the tegument of F. hepatica occurs solely by diffusion.
