摘要：
Experimental and clinical studies in acute cerebral ischaemia have increased our knowledge of the pathogenesis of this common disease. In addition, studies on the temporal sequence of the mechanisms induced by cerebral ischaemia and their duration have provided the basis for modern hyperacute stroke therapy, which is mainly founded on two pillars: thrombolysis and neuroprotection.
