INVESTMENT, FOREIGN DISINVESTMENT AND OFFSHORING

The goal of this project is to find out if the disinvestment process continues in foreign companies in Spain which was shown at the end of 1990s year and know in which activities can an offshoring process is taking place. The result shows the continuation of this process in some activities as food product, paper, recycling, medical-quirurgique equipment and the intensification of this process in the service activities as retail trade, telecommunication, financial activities, and the other in which this process didn't take place. On the other hand the results show that the activities most penetrating by foreign capital seem to be more affected by the disinvestment process.
