摘要：
Body functions in natural human locomotion are briefly compared to those in manned flight operations. The difference between flight simulation and mission simulation is highlighted and the basic principles of flight simulation are addressed, followed by an overview of the stimulating means available for flight simulation, with a brief introduction of the purposes and functions of each. Principal demands on flight simulation computer systems are summarized and it is concluded why flight simulation is an advanced application of Virtual Reality.
