The hydrodynamics and heat exchange during sea water and distillate boiling in a thin film on the heated horizontal and vertical surface of tubes over wide range parameters are described. The experimental data illustrate the boiling sea water on the horizontal tube surface and variation coefficient of hydrodynamic resistance for thin film upflow.
