摘要
The results of an experimental investigation of nonlinear interaction between acoustic waves and plasma are discussed. When oscillations with frequencies f1 and f2 are transmitted into a glow-discharge plasma, the generation of sound at the sum frequency f+, the difference frequency f-, and the second difference frequency f2 = f1 - f- is observed. Experimental curves are plotted for the intensities of the acoustic sum-, difference-, and second difference-frequency waves as functions of the discharge current and the gas pressure. Second and third harmonics are generated and investigated at elevated gas pressures in the discharge.
