摘要
The Democratic school management is an important factor for the promotion of human training and citizenship. Whereas educational management covers all aspects related to school education (pedagogical, political, administrative and financial) being the way of organizing the school, as well as the organization of the teaching-learning process held in the classroom, this article seeks to apprehend literacy in the context of democratic school management, this by means of bibliographical research on the topic. We conclude that the Democratic school management has an indispensable role in the process of literacy of students by allowing the school to become a space of teaching and learning that respects the different visions and fosters the participation of the community School and place in the construction of the school's educational project according to their wishes, that the student learns in school and despite it, and is prepared for life.
