摘要
As part of strategy development for the period 2012-2016 the Austrian National Library built a concept for new virtual reference services. The Department of Information Services was established as one-stop-shop for customers with information needs and coordinates the new services "Ask a Librarian", chat and chatbot. The article describes technical and organisational steps of the implementation, which took 1.5 years to realize, as well as experiences with the new services.
